Abu Nasser Muhammad Abduz Zaher is the founder of Manarat International University.
He is currently the Chairman of Industrialists & Businessmen Welfare Foundation, the Director of The IBN SINA Pharmaceutical Industry Plc, a Member of Fouad Al-Khateeb Charity Foundation, a Member of Badshah Faisal Institute, a Trustee of Ibn Sina Trust, a Member of Manarat International School & College, a Member of Islamic Education Society, and a Member of Bangladesh Islamic Center.
Mr. Abduz Zaher has formerly served as the Chairman of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, the Vice Chairman of Bangladesh Association of Banks, the Chairman of Islamic Banks Consultative Forum, a Director of General Council For Islamic Banks & Financial Institutions, and the Secretary-Embassy & Ambassador of Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia.
He graduated from the University of Rajshahi.
