Mr. Alan D.
Wilde is a Head of Fixed Income-Global at Baring Asset Management Ltd. He joined the firm in 2004, becoming Head of Fixed Income and Currencies in 2007.
He assumed the role of Head of Fixed Income – Global in 2014.
He is a member of the Investment Committee and the Strategic Policy Group, the company’s global macro research and asset allocation team.
Mr. Wilde is a member of both the Global and the Yen based Portfolio Construction Groups, and retains some responsibilities for managing key Global bond portfolios.
Prior to joining the firm, he worked for Abbey National Asset Managers, where he was Head of the Fixed Income Team for 10 years, and Mr. Wilde also worked for Life Association of Scotland for 7 years as an Investment Manager.
In the early part of his career, he worked in retail and corporate banking with The Royal Bank of Scotland and Banque Indosuez.
Mr. Wilde received his Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mathematics with Economics from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
