Carter is a Managing Director & Investments Wealth Advisor at Hapanowicz & Associates Financial Services, Inc. As head of the H&A Investment Committee, he leads the firm’s investment and portfolio management disciplines.
He is responsible for the design and due diligence of the firm’s investment strategies, including asset allocation, risk management, and security selection.
Since joining the firm in 2012, he has held several investment-related roles, including Investment Strategist.
Bernard believes that every client should have a clear understanding of how their assets are invested, as well as the exact role their investment portfolio plays within their overall financial plan.
He has over 20 years of financial industry experience, including 13 years as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Washington and Jefferson College.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Society of Pittsburgh.
He also holds a Certified Financial Planner designation.
