Prior to joining Loch Capital in 2007, Mr. Koss held positions with technical, sales and operating responsibilities located in the U.S.
and internationally.
He left Ciena in 2006 and transitioned to the investment management business.
When he left Ciena, Mr. Koss held the position of Vice President of Global Business Alliances.
He joined Ciena in 2004 through the acquisition of Internet Photonics, where he served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development.
Prior to Internet Photonics, Mr. Koss was Vice President of Sales for Nortel Networks which he joined through Sonoma Systems.
He joined Sonoma Systems in 1998 and was responsible for service provider sales in the central U.S.
market.
Prior to Sonoma Systems, Mr. Koss held positions at Stratus Computer and CrossComm.
Mr. Koss received a BA in 1991 in International Studies with a concentration on international business and political change from Norwich University, The Military College of Vermont.
He and his wife are active patrons of the arts in Boston including the School of the MFA.
