Mr. Perkins provides strategic direction for DBC's food and commercial marine publications and trade shows.
Previously he served as Vice President of Food Expositions, overseeing DBC's seven seafood expositions.
Mr. Perkins joined the company in 1992 as Sales Manager for the International Boston Seafood Show and led the sales effort to launch European Seafood Exposition.
Under his direction, three new seafood shows were launched: The International West Coast Seafood Show, Seafood Processing Europe, and the Singapore Seafood Exhibition.
Before joining DBC, Mr. Perkins was Managing Editor for Boating Digest at United Publications, in Yarmouth, Maine.
Between 1987 and 1990, Mr. Perkins was Managing Editor of Fisheries Product News, based in Stonington, Maine.
Prior to that Mr. Perkins was a commercial fisherman.
