Dr. Brigitte Hochmuth is a Research Fellow at Institut für Höhere Studien.
Her research interests cover Macroeconomics, especially Macro Labor and Open Economy Macro, and Applied Econometrics.
She works on the macroeconomic effects of labor market policies (such as short-time work and reforms of the unemployment benefit system) in closed and open economies.
She also works on the interaction of financial frictions and the labor market.
She is a Ph.D.
graduate from the Chair of Macroeconomics at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg (FAU).
