Cheswick Investment Co., Inc.
Cheswick Investment Co., Inc. Investment ManagersFinance CIC's investment strategy is to buy and hold domestic stocks that have long-term growth potential. As growth stock investors, they identify those industries they believe offer the most attractive growth opportunities in the current economic environment. Profiles of these companies typically show very high growth rates for earnings, dividends, reinvestment rates and cash flow. They employ diligent and disciplined analysis of important global economic indicators. In reviewing the equity environment, CIC is mindful of valuations, credit cycles and sentiment swings. One of the firm's primary strategies is to develop concentrated portfolios within their core industries. As stocks accumulate gains, their percentage positions within the portfolio increase. They believe in holding these positions as long as the companies are superior, long-term performers. CIC will sell holdings if there are ominous signs of a general price decline or the issues appear to be losing either price or earnings momentum. Their approach is to be sensitive to capital gain taxes when possible. CIC's bond strategy is to invest in U.S. Treasury obligations and the highest quality state general obligation municipal bonds. They are sensitive to the effects of interest rates on bond holdings and will adjust maturity schedules based on the firm's forecast of credit cycles. | President | 31/01/2006 |
