Charles J.
Waibel MD, CFA, joined Badgley, Phelps and Bell in 2001.
He is a portfolio manager and works primarily with individuals and families.
Dr. Waibel joined the firm after four years at Sigma Investment Management where he focused on private capital clients.
Dr. Waibel brings a diverse background and many unique talents to our portfolio management team and our Portland office.
He began his professional career as a physician, rising to Chief of Emergency Medicine at Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland.
The combination of analytical skills and client service that Dr. Waibel developed in medical practice provided a solid foundation for his transition to investment counseling and management.
In addition to being a Chartered Financial Analyst, Dr. Waibel earned the Doctorate degree in Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Natural Sciences from Lewis & Clark College.
Dr. Waibel completed his residency at UCLA Medical Center and his internship at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix.
