Christelle Astorg-Lepine has over 25 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
She is currently the Managing Director of Starburst Paris.
Prior to that, she was the Director of BLAST, the first French accelerator program in the Aeronautics, Space and Defense (ASD) sectors, powered by Starburst in collaboration with ONERA, SATT Paris-Saclay and Polytechnique.
Before joining Starburst in 2021, Christelle Astorg-Lepine’s extensive career began at CNES (the French Space Agency), where she spent 25 years contributing to various important projects.
In 2003, she led the qualification of the first stage of Ariane 5 ECA, which was a significant milestone in the development of the Ariane 5 rocket.
In 2005, she served as the Head of the Future Launchers Projects department before joining the French delegation to the European Space Agency (ESA)’s program management in 2008, where she represented French interests and participated in the management of ESA programs.
In 2019, she was in charge of the development of the Connect by CNES program, which aimed to foster collaboration and innovation in the space industry by connecting stakeholders from different sectors.
