Mr. Christopher de Vere Walker is a Head of Power & Utilities at Tracker Group Ltd. He has worked in the global energy markets for over 23 years with a focus on power sector fundamentals, infrastructure and regulation.
He spent 10 years at IHS Markit (formerly IHS CERA, now S&P Global) heading power research for the company’s integrated Russian and Caspian Energy Service, as well as senior director and thought leader in IHS Markit’s Global Power and Renewables service.
Before joining IHS Markit, Christopher founded SEEPX Energy where he advised on power sector strategy for international companies in the UK, Europe, Balkans, Russia, Central Asia and Pakistan.
He began his energy career in power trading, negotiating multi-million pound power contracts between energy companies.
During this time, he also advised and managed a major client’s trading portfolio during the Enron collapse.
