Mr. David A. Nordquist, CFA MBA, is Head of Investment Risk Management at Victory Capital Management, Inc. Prior to joining Victory in 2011, Mr. Nordquist was an Executive Director in the US Quantitative Research Group at UBS, where he managed a team of analysts responsible for developing, marketing and supporting a proprietary equity risk analysis and portfolio optimization tool.
He has had the opportunity to work with numerous external money managers on the use and implementation of these tools for customized portfolio analysis and optimization, as well as generating and presenting various forms of quantitative research to clients.
Prior to UBS, he held quantitative research positions at both Morgan Stanley in New York City and Vestek Systems in San Francisco.
Mr. Nordquist holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in microbiology, an MA in economics from the University of British Columbia, and an MBA from McGill University.
He has also completed doctoral work in finance at the University of British Columbia.
Additionally, Mr. Nordquist is a CFA charterholder.
