Prior to founding Aspen, Dr. Crockett served as a Vice President for 3i Ventures, President and CEO of Pyramid Technology, and President and CEO of Dataquest.
Dr. Crockett has held management and operational positions with Hewlett Packard and IBM and was a principal in two start-up companies that were successfully acquired.
He has served on 20 private and 10 public board of directors.
Professional Boards have included National Science Foundation’s Emerging Technology Transfer, Executive Board of the American Electronics Association, Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, Advisory Board for the School of Engineering at the University of Illinois and the Editorial Board for Reference Data for Engineers: Radio, Electronics, Computer, and Communications.
Dr. Crockett holds a BSEE from Brigham Young University, a MSEE from Stanford University, and a Ph.D.
from the University of Illinois.
