David Fershteyn

David Fershteyn is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner at Altera.
David is responsible for leading the company’s corporate strategy and investment platform, building firm-wide relationships with sponsors and investors, and helping investors build out their alternative investment portfolios.
He is also a member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to Altera, David worked as a technology investment banker at Barclays in Silicon Valley.
At Barclays, he focused on the internet, semiconductor and software verticals.
He performed company specific financial analysis and worked on various private transactions.
David also spent time at Frisch Capital Partners, a boutique investment bank specialized in raising capital for independent sponsors.
At Frisch Capital, David helped source transactions, raised capital, and built relationships with lower middle market private equity sponsors.
David graduated with Honors earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia.
