Mr. David L.
Brunette is Senior Research Analyst at Frank Russell Capital, Inc. He directs Russell Real Estate Advisors' applied research efforts, including quantitative analysis and public real estate securities manager research.
Mr. Brunette has more than 22 years of experience in quantitative and applied investment research, and has specialized in real estate since 1989.
His first role with Russell, in 1977, was to manage the company's U.S.
and international performance measurement.
In 1987, he became a senior research analyst in Russell's research and development area.
Mr. Brunette joined Russell's real estate consulting practice in 1989 to direct the group's quantitative research efforts.
Under his direction, a number of property indexes were developed and produced.
Russell's Real Estate Portfolio Analysis report was also developed under his guidance.
He has published several articles, including "World Market Correlations" in Investment Management Review and "Natural Disasters and Commercial Real Estate Returns" in Real Estate Finance.
Mr. Brunette holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington, and an M.B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University.
Mr. Brunette is a member of the National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF), the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association and the Editorial Board of Real Estate Finance.
