Mr. Buchholtz is an attorney in Brownstein Hyatt & Farber's Albuquerque office.
He focuses on government finance law, economic development and state tax incentive law, financial institutions law, securities law and corporate matters.
Additionally, he represents issuers, underwriters and trustees in connection with the issuance of government securities.
Mr. Buchholtz has been a consultant for the State of New Mexico Economic Development Department under Secretaries Homans, John Garcia, Bratcher, Dendahl and William Garcia.
He has counseled private businesses in regard to a variety of matters pertaining to growth, corporate governance affairs and government relations.
He serves as lead bond counsel to the City of Albuquerque and the Intel Corporation and has advised numerous clients on public finance and economic development matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Buchholtz worked for many years at Sutin, Thayer & Browne where he served as President and CEO from 1994 to 1997.
He was also a senior member of the firm's Commercial Practice Group and a member of the Board of Directors.
From 1976 to 1981, he practiced with the Philadelphia law firm of Wolf, Block, Schorr and Solis-Cohen in its securities and municipal bond department.
