He has over 32 years of experience.
He became Head of Emerging Markets Equities at Invesco Perpetual in April 2007, having joined the company in 1993 and the Emerging Markets Equities team in 1994.
Mr. Newman began his investment career in 1985 joining Legal & General where he covered UK equity markets, moving to Japanese bank Sanwa in 1991 where he was Head of UK Equities.
Mr. Newman graduated from Durham University with a BA honours degree in Economics and Politics.
