Mr. Kernasovskiy joined Pasadena Angels in 2007.
He is also a research analyst at First Wilshire Securities Management, an asset management firm in Pasadena, California, specializing in global small- and micro-cap value companies.
Mr. Kernasovskiy came to the United States from Russia in 1996.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Caltech with honors in 2006.
While at Caltech, he developed a passion for business and entrepreneurship.
He helped teach management and entrepreneurship courses, worked on a project analyzing Caltech spin-out companies, provided consulting for the L.A. Times, and raised $40,000 to organize a large-scale rock concert on the Caltech campus.
Prior to joining the Pasadena Angels, he worked on a startup, Inq Art.
Inq’s mission was to launch a chain of upscale body art studios targeted towards women.
