Co-founder of Stuyvesant, Mr. von Wedel has been analyzing and managing securities for more than 50 years.
He was Manager of the Research Department at Hemphill, Noyes & Co. and later a General Partner of Hornblower & Weeks, Hemphill, Noyes & Co. He formed the investment advisory subsidiary of Hemphill, Noyes and was its President and President of its successor company, Stuyvesant Asset Management.
He received his BA in economics from Colgate University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts.
