Mr. Purington joined Highstar Capital in 2010.
Since joining Highstar, he has been involved in analyzing investments in various infrastructure sectors.
Prior to joining Highstar, he was an analyst in the trading training program at Oldendorff Carriers, a German dry bulk freight trading firm.
While at Oldendorff, Mr. Purington operated and researched dozens of ocean freight trades in the United States and over 30 countries, and in all sectors of the dry commodities industry.
Mr. Purington holds a BA in Political Science from Yale University.
