Mr. Eric Yan, CFA MBA, is a Chief Investment Officer & CCO at Ede Asset Management, Inc. He co-founded EDE Asset Management Inc (EDE Asset) in 2016.
He is an investment veteran with over twenty years of experience in commodities and emerging market investment.
Prior to creating EDE Asset, Mr. Yan spent four years holding senior portfolio management roles covering mainland China A share mandates, including Head of QFII in China Investment Fund Management overseeing foreign institutional investment advisory business.
He was the lead manager of Matrix Asia Pacific Fund and investment analyst of Seamark international team between 2007 and 2012.
Prior to joining Mavrix, he covered China strategy and commodities research in Scotia Capital for four years after spending eight years with China Minmetals Group as senior commodity trader.
He obtained MBA degree from University of Toronto in 2003 and holds CFA charter since 2006.
