Mr. Evan A. Wyly is Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Maverick Capital Ltd.
Prior to co-founding Maverick in August 1993, Mr. Wyly was a founder and President of Premier Partners.
He founded a number of businesses including Sterling Software, Sterling Commerce, Michaels Stores, Earth Resources, Bonanza Restaurants and GreenMountain Energy.
He served as a director of three publicly traded companies: Sterling Software from 1992-2000, Sterling Commerce from 1995-2000, and Michaels Stores from 1992-2001.
Since 1999, he has served as a director of Green Mountain Energy.
He is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization and a member emeritus of the Advisory Faculty of the Institute for Private Investors.
Mr. Wyly has served on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations.
Mr. Wyly received a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
