Mr. Barker’s role at Dex Media resulted from his activities as Managing Director at The Carlyle Group, where he played a senior role in the acquisition of Dex Media from Qwest Communications, among several other major investments and exits in the U.S.
and Europe.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Barker was a Principal at Morgan Stanley in media and information services investment banking.
Mr. Barker earned his BA magna cum laude from Amherst College and his MBA in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
