Prior to joining Federal Street in 2001, he served as a Director, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Northern Trust Global Advisors, Inc. and The Northern Trust Company of Connecticut.
Mr. Markowski was responsible for supervising the finance, accounting, fund operations, legal and compliance areas of this $15 billions manager-of-managers investment firm and its foreign subsidiaries.
Prior to 1987, Mr. Markowski served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Newsweek International and also served as a senior financial analyst on the finance staff of Ford Motor Company.
Mr. Markowski earned his MBA degree in Financial Control from Harvard Graduate Business School in 1973, and his BS degree in Engineering from the U.S.
Military Academy at West Point in 1964.
