Mr. Austin is Co-Managing Director at Moelis & Co. Holdings LLC and Managing Director at Moelis & Company.
He has over 20 years of investment banking experience and was most recently Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Media Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank.
In this role he was responsible for a top-ranked global team focused on advising companies in the media sector as well as on related coverage of financial sponsors.
Mr. Austin has advised corporate and financial sponsor clients on many of the most significant transactions in the media sector in recent years, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, restructurings and debt and equity financings.
He was previously at SG Hambros Corporate Finance, formerly known as Hambros Bank.
Mr. Austin holds an MA from Oriel College, Oxford University, and attended the Corporate Finance Programme at London Business School.
He is Chairman of Oriel College Development Trust.
