Mr. Aker joined Dunham Trust in 2009 upon its acquisition of Adagio Trust Company.
He joined Adagio from the First Citizens National Bank in Iowa.
His experience includes nine years as President of Nevada National Bank, as well as Treasurer of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
He also served on the Investment Advisory Board of the ELCA Board of Pensions, managing in excess of 2 billion in assets.
In addition, Mr. Aker served as Vice President for College Relations at St. Olaf College and as Chief Investment Officer for the endowment fund of the college.
He is currently President of Heritage Clubs International, Inc. and a Board Member for both The Reno Chamber Orchestra and Silver Sage Manor, Inc., a developer of the senior housing in Northern Nevada.
Mr. Aker holds his undergraduate degree from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, and his MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
