During his career, George has completed over 40 transactions involving more than $2.5 billion of invested capital across a wide spectrum of debt and equity securities.
Prior to joining CIP, George was a founding Managing Partner at Catalyst Equity Partners and a Managing Principal at Heller Investments, two private equity funds focusing on investments in middle market companies that were executing financial restructurings or operational turnarounds.
Previously, he was a Senior Vice President and Origination Manager for Heller Financial’s Structured Finance Group.
He also served as a Captain in the U.S.
Army in several command assignments.
George earned an M.B.A. from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA and a B.A. in Economics from the John Hopkins University.
