Gerry Schaafsma has over 20 years of business experience, including venture capital investing, start-up management, engineering and Wall Street banking.
He joined Anthem in 1997, and opened the Philadelphia office.
Prior to joining Anthem, he acquired direct operating experience as the CEO of Image PSL.
He also gained VC experience with Johnston Associates and Massey Burch where he directed over 15 companies, including PhyCor and Corporate Childcare Services.
Mr. Schaafsma is on the Board of Directors for the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group and was the Chairman of the 2002-2003 program year.
He received his MBA from Harvard and his Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Illinois.
