Mr. Blanchet started with a political economy management position at the ministère des Finances du Québec, where he was responsible for regional development, R & D and the establishment of business fund FAE (Fonds d’aide aux entreprises).
These tasks led him to manage files on business capitalization.
Following this, Mr. Blanchet was assistant manager for the La Pocatière-based centre for specialized physical technology, a company operating in the field of development and installation of new technology among SMEs in the Lower Saint Lawrence region.
He also played a role in the establishment of the regional solidarity fund for the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region, serving as general manager.
Before joining our staff, he was president and general manager of the Société Innovatech Régions ressources.
Mr. Blanchet holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA from Laval University.
