Giorgio is Head of R&D Policy in the Technology and Innovation Department (CT&IO) of Leonardo S.p.A., one of the leading global players in aerospace, defense and security.
His expertise covers business development, sales, marketing and external relations, including corporate communications.
Thanks to his engineering background, Giorgio has also spent time in program management, strategy, planning and technology financing, thus acquiring a global view of the mechanisms that govern complex enterprises and large corporate organizations.
Building on his experience, Giorgio has started working as a Business Angel and as a mentor to young entrepreneurs of innovative Start-Ups in the IT and digital sector (Automotive IoT, innovative Market places, AI in medicine), helping them to improve their business model, proposition and presentation of their offerings.
He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Ulixes Capital Partners that he co-founded in 2019.
Giorgio holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Energy Management and a Master in Composite Materials and Nanotechnology.
