Mr. Johnson was previously was Managing Director, Head of Europe, in the Private Equity Funds Group at Deutsche Bank Group, a leading global investment bank, in London, U.K.
While at Deutsche Bank, in addition to serving on the Global Private Equity Investment Committee for the bank, Mr. Johnson was responsible for private equity fundraising, structuring and investment activities in Europe and the Middle East.
Prior to being at Deutsche, Mr. Johnson worked in a similar capacity for LGT Capital Partners, the Swiss-based alternative asset management arm of the Liechtenstein Princely Family, and as a Director in the private equity funds group at AXA Investment Managers.
Mr. Johnson gained experience in corporate finance while a Director of Investment Banking at CIBC Wood Gundy in Toronto and began his career as an auditor with KPMG in Germany.
Mr. Johnson earned his BA from the University of Western Ontario in 1991 and his MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1995.
He holds the CFA designation and has business fluency in four European languages.
