Ms. Helen C.
Townsley is a Research Director at Chartis Research Ltd. She leads the development and implementation of our proprietary research methodology.
She is the key interface with our team of industry advisors and subject matter experts and manages the collection and collation of our best-practices knowledge-base.
She has over 12 years experience in risk management.
She has been involved in numerous board level consulting engagements and has developed a specialisation in the application of information technology to risk management.
Prior to joining Chartis, she was a Senior Member of the Risk Management Team within the Group Finance Division of British Telecom (BT).
Her work at BT included the development of corporate governance policies and procedures, implementing risk management systems and managing relationships with third-party risk solution providers.
Before joining BT, she was a Senior Consultant in the Risk Management Group of AEA Technology specialising in enterprise-wide risk and technology consulting to the financial services and transport industries.
Ms. Townsley has a Bachelors Degree in Production Engineering from Nottingham University, a Masters Degree in Ergonomics from University College London and is a Qualified Member of the Institute of Risk Management.
