Before that he held directorship position at Mizuho Capital Partners where he was involved in a broad range of deals from automotive company, advanced materials, to trading companies.
With more than 15 years in Mizuho, he has developed extensive experience in the investment banking sector particularly on syndicate loans, M&A advisory and also various types of private equity transactions (MBO, LBO, etc.).
Mr. Ihara received a B.A. in economics from Kyushu University and an M.B.A. from Warwick Business School, United Kingdom.
He is a Certified Member of Securities Analyst Association in Japan.
