Husein is an Investment Officer at Village Capital.
In this role, he identifies and drives investments for the South Asia, Africa, and Middle East regions along with the Impact Investments team.
He also works with the investment analysts on the Global Ventures team to ensure that the companies develop robust financial models and level up to the next stage of investment readiness.
Prior to joining Village Capital, Husein worked with Deloitte.
During his time at Deloitte, he worked on a variety of clients ranging from some of India's largest private sector banks to private equity funds.
He has also worked on complex regulatory and consulting assignments.
Husein is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and attended H.R.
College of Commerce and Economics from where he obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree.
He resides in Mumbai.
