Mr. Imtiaz H.
Hydari is Chief Executive Officer at Premium Brands Jordan and HBG Holdings Ltd., and Chairman at Rasmala Holdings Ltd.
He has managed some of the region’s largest businesses and played a leading role in some landmark M&A transactions in the Middle East.
He has significant experience of private equity and mergers and acquisitions in the SAMENA region.
Between 1991 and 1995, he worked with the Olayan Group as President and CEO.
At the Olayan Group he developed a distinguished record of setting up new businesses and growing them to market leadership positions in relatively short periods of time.
Furthermore, he has the distinction of securing joint venture partnerships and franchise relationships with some of the leading global multinationals.
Previously he was a Co-Founder of Abraaj Capital with responsibility for general management and value-creation efforts in portfolio companies.
He was pivotal in Abraaj’s leveraged buyout of Aramex International.
Mr. Hydari is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) and a Fellow member of the British Chartered Management Institute (FCMI).
