Mr. James A. Beck is Investment Director at Quilter Cheviot Ltd. He chairs the Quilter Cheviot Alternative Investments Committee and sits on the Fund Selection Committee.
In 2006, he joined Cheviot as a Founding Partner, where he was responsible for managing portfolios on behalf of individuals, trusts, charities and pension funds.
Quilter & Co. Ltd. and Cheviot Asset Management Ltd. merged in June 2013.
Mr, Beck began his career at James Capel Investment Management in 1999, moving in 2003 to Laing & Cruickshank Investment Management, which was acquired by UBS Wealth Management in 2004.
He graduated with a double honours degree in law & economics from the University of Edinburgh in 1999.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Securities Institute (FCSI).
