Jim Brown is a Managing Director at CenterGate Capital.
Jim has over 25 years of experience sourcing, leading, and actively managing investments in private companies across a broad range of sizes and transaction structures in several industries, including software, hardware, cybersecurity, fintech, telecommunications, SaaS, healthcare, and retail.
Prior to CenterGate, Jim served as a General Partner at Arena Growth Partners, and as a General Partner at Polaris Partners, where he participated in developing firm strategy and fundraising activities.
Jim’s private equity career began at J.P.
Morgan Capital.
Jim’s career began with service to the nation as a Captain and Aviator in the United States Army.
Jim holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a JD from New York University, and a BS in Engineering and Political Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
