Mr. Somes an architect, founded JSA, Inc., a Portsmouth-based architectural firm that has grown, prospered and received most of the industry's awards.
He founded EVOLV, Inc., an extranet collaboration company serving the architectural project market.
In June 1999, EVOLV was acquired by Brics.net, concurrently with Brics.net's IPO on the EASDAQ exchange in Belgium.
He holds degrees in both Science and Architecture from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
