Mr. Jan Birkmanis is on the Board of Directors at Coeli Asset Management AB. He joined the firm in May 2021 bringing more than 20 years of experience from the investment management industry.
Prior to joining Coeli, he served as COO at Informed Portfolio Management (IPM), a USD 5Bn systematic macro hedge fund.
Preceding IPM, he was COO at Brummer Fund Services, the infrastructure arm of Brummer & Partners, one of the leading alternative investment firms in the Nordics with AUM in excess of USD 10Bn across a broad range of investment strategies.
Earlier in his career, he gained extensive experience in the traditional asset management and alternative investment industry at SunGard in New York and London, helping asset managers evaluate their infrastructure needs and implement the optimal technology solutions.
Mr. Birkmanis holds a M.Sc.
in Business Administration and a B.Sc.
in Economics with applied mathematics from Uppsala University.
