Mr. Jean-Luc Baucherel is Chairman at Groupama SA. Mr. Baucherel was previously employed as a Portfolio Manager by GAN Patrimoine SA. Mr. Baucherel has been involved in the mutualist activities of Groupama since 1975.
Initially managing director of the Morbihan Mutual, he became a committee member in 1978.
On the creation of Groupama Bretagne in 1992 he joined the committee of the new region, and took up the office of Vice-Chairman in 1996.
In 2000 he was appointed Chairman of Groupama Bretagne, and subsequently of Groupama Loire-Bretagne following the merging of the Regional Mutuals of Bretagne and Pays de Loire in November 2002.
Since December 2003, Mr. Baucherel has also been Vice-Chairman of the Fédération Nationale Groupama, Vice-Chairman of Groupama SA and managing director of Groupama Holding.
In accordance with the Group's mutualist guiding principles, Mr. Baucherel continues to hold the offices of Chairman of Groupama Loire-Bretagne and Chairman of the Local Mutual of La Roche Bernard.
