Prior to joining Courier Capital in 1998, Ms. Johansson spent the first 12 years of her career in retail banking, first with Empire of America, FSB and following its acquisition, with M&T Bank.
While at M&T, she held NASD Series 6 and 63 licenses as well as New York State Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses.
Ms. Johansson received her BA in English from Kenyon College.
Ms. Johansson has been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) licensee governed by the CFP Board of Standards since 2003.
She is an active member of the Board of Deacons of Westminster Church and the Alumnae Board of the Buffalo Seminary, and she has also served as an alumni volunteer for Kenyon College.
