Mr. Jeffrey Eisenberg is Partner at AREA Property Partners LP.
He joined AREA Property 2010 and is responsible for growing its hedge fund business and West Coast investments.
He has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and hedge fund business.
Prior to AREA, Mr. Eisenberg was a Partner and Managing Director at Starwood Capital Group in the Acquisitions Group.
In addition, he initiated the creation of the Starwood India Fund and long/short real estate hedge fund.
Previously, Mr. Eisenberg founded Eisenberg Partners, L.L.C.
which managed several domestic and offshore hedge funds investing in non-traditional investments including real estate securities and special situations.
Beginning in 1992, Mr. Eisenberg was a Partner and Managing Director at Angelo, Gordon & Co. where he was the founder of the Real Estate Group.
He began his career working for Sam Zell at Equity Group Investments.
Mr. Eisenberg graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with Bachelors of Business Administration degrees in both Real Estate and Finance, Northwestern University School of Law with a JD and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management with a MBA.
