Profil
Mr. Parket is the Senior Portfolio Manager for the convertible arbitrage team.
In the past 16 years, he has held a variety of positions in the securities markets with a primary focus on the arbitraging of the capital structures of corporations, with a particular emphasis on convertible securities.
His first position was with Drexel Burnham Lambert from 1986 to 1990, as a Vice President in the Fixed Income Division.
During this time, Mr. Parket specialized in the trading, restructuring and arbitraging of a variety of fixed income instruments.
In 1990, he joined Union Bank of Switzerland's securities division ("USB Securities") as a Vice President, specializing in convertible bond and balance sheet arbitrage.
In 1992, Mr. Parket co-founded Hamilton Partners, a hedge fund primarily devoted to convertible bond arbitrage.
In 1996, he left Hamilton Partners to join Morgan Stanley & Co. as Head of Domestic Convertible Proprietary Arbitrage.
In the summer of 1997, Mr. Parket left Morgan Stanley and, along with three other partners, founded Kennilworth Partners, a new convertible hedge fund.
In 2000, Mr. Parket joined KBC Financial Products as an Executive Vice President and the Director of Corporate Finance.
In this role, he worked with issuers of convertible securities on prospective new issues, and the restructuring of existing ones.
Mr. Parket graduated from the University of Michigan with an MBA in Finance in 1986, and the University of Chicago with a BA in Economics in 1984.
