Mr. Jens A. Vanbrabant, CFA, is a Senior Portfolio Manager & Head of High Yield at Allspring Global Investments (UK) Ltd. for the Credit Europe team.
In this capacity, he has oversight and portfolio management responsibilities for separate accounts and commingled vehicles across a range of strategies.
He has over 25 years of experience in investment industry.
Mr. Vanbrabant joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM).
He served as a portfolio manager responsible for the team’s corporate investment-grade and high-yield credit risk before becoming a lead portfolio manager of WFAM Credit Europe’s multi-asset credit portfolios, which included significant allocations to loans and high yield.
He was previously at J.P.
Morgan, where he was a credit research analyst responsible for the firm’s industrials loan exposure in the Credit Portfolio Group.
He began his investment industry career in 1999.
He earned a master's degree in law from King's College London and a law degree from the University of Leuven in Belgium.
He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of CFA Society United Kingdom.
