Mr. Cogan joined Banc of America Securities in 1995 as a Research Assistant.
In 1996, he was promoted to Associate and then to Analyst and Vice President in 1997.
Before joining the firm, he worked as a Legislative Aide for Congressman Pete Stark of the U.S.
House of Representatives.
Prior to that, he was a freelance photographer and founder of Cheap Shots.
Mr. Cogan's current research coverage includes Harrah's Entertainment, MGM MIRAGE, Park Place Entertainment, Marriott International, Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, and Hilton Hotels Corp.
Mr. Cogan was recognized in 2002 as a top stock picker in The Wall Street Journal's Annual "Best on the Street" Survey.
He earned his B.A. in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania
