Dr. Jerry A. Webman is Chief Economist at OppenheimerFunds, Inc.
Prior to joining OppenheimerFunds in 1996, Dr. Webman was managing director and chief fixed income strategist at Prudential Mutual Funds, where he had been since 1986.
Before Prudential, he specialized in municipal housing finance with a public finance advisory firm and began his municipal finance career in research with Merrill Lynch Capital Markets.
Previously, he was an assistant professor of politics and public affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School of International Affairs at Princeton University.
Dr. Webman earned a PhD in Political Science from Yale University and a BA in Political Science with Honors from University of Chicago.
