Mr. Joe B. Murphy, CFA, is an Analyst & Dealer at Hermes Investment Management Ltd.
He joined Hermes Fund Managers in 2013.
His main responsibilities are to provide fundamental research and trade ideas for the metals sector and also to act as dealer on the suite of commodity funds.
Prior to this, Mr. Murphy worked for the BT Pension Scheme as a Derivative Fund Manager and Multi-Asset Strategist.
He began his career working as an Assistant Portfolio Manager for Bank of Ireland Asset Management and also spent time working for Aon Hewitt as a specialist in asset allocation.
Mr. Murphy holds a BBLS (Hons) degree in Business and Legal Studies along with a MSc in Finance from University College Dublin.
He holds the Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Society of the UK.
