Mr. Joe G.
Bruening, CFA MBA, is a Senior Partner at The Renaissance Group LLC.
He joined the firm in 1998 and is the lead portfolio manager for the firm’s international equity portfolios.
Prior to assuming his current portfolio management duties, he served as a Securities Trader, a role in which he had 10 years prior experience as a trader at Fifth Third Bank.
In November 2000, he was promoted to Vice President, was made a Partner in 2003, and most recently a Senior Partner in 2010.
Mr. Bruening was previously employed as a Trader by Fifth Third Bank Kentucky, Inc. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Xavier University and is a cum laude graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Real Estate.
He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Cincinnati.
