Joe Malo is the controller for ViVOtech.
Mr. Malo has many years of experience in public accounting, as a consultant to industry and in academia.
Prior to joining ViVOtech Mr. Malo worked for as Director of Finance for FMI holdings, a designer and manufacturer of cardiac testing devices, where he was responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting from budgets, forecasts, strategic business and product plans to internal and external financial and tax reporting as well as vendor and supplier relations.
Previously Mr. Malo had similar roles at both Invensys Sensor Systems as Director of Finance and Composite Rotor, Inc., as VP of Finance and Administration.
Mr. Malo began his career at Cooper, Collins and Pors Accountancy Corp., a public accounting firm where he spent 9 years in a variety of roles achieving the title of Senior Manager of Professional Staff.
After Cooper, Collins Mr. Malo worked with Axil Computers, Inc., as controller, LVB Enterprises, an activewear and apparel manufacturer, as Director of Finance and 3Com Corp., as Consultant to Client Access Products Division.
In academia, Mr. Malo was instructor of Financial Statement Analysis for the MBA program at the International Technological Institute in Santa Clara, CA as recently as June 2002.
Previously he was Instructor of Intermediate and Managerial (Cost) Accounting at the College of Notre Dame in Belmont, California until 1984.
Mr Malo has an active and current CPA license and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Santa Clara.
