SelStor AB
SelStor AB Other TransportationTransportation SelStor AB was established in 2006 by Michael Fogelberg, Patrick Metdepenninghen, Åke Fogelberg and Grana International. This group was involved in the formation of Shurgard Europe in 1994, and they contributed to helping the company become a market leader. During the successful European expansion, more than 140 facilities were built in seven countries over a ten-year period. At the beginning of 2007, Cron Industrier AS joined the ownership group. The main owner and Chairman of Cron is Carl A. Ameln, who started and developed City Self Storage in several European countries, including Sweden, over a period of about ten years. During the same year, two new investors joined the ownership group, Mesna Industrier AS, which manages investments and is owned by Per Erik Engebretsen. He was also involved in establishing UNION Gruppen, which specialises in real estate, financing and investments. He was one of the four main owners and in charge of the Group's financing business. The second investor was Bertil Canderudh, businessman and property investor. Bertil's Board representative is Johan Hampf. During the spring of 2008, a new share issue was subscribed by the Norwegian Smedvig Capital, a London-based venture capital company. Smedvig Capital was established in 1996 and has since contributed to the growth of more than 30 businesses. SelStor began in Stockholm, but over the next few years plans are to expand throughout Sweden and then in select European markets. The aim is to open at least 3 or 4 facilities a year. | Directeur/Membre du Conseil | 29/09/2009 | - |
