Mr. Brad J.
Miller is a Consultant at Whelan Capital Management, Inc. Prior to joining Whelan Capital in November 2007, he spent nearly fifteen years in institutional sales, first as a Managing Director for Montgomery Securities (later acquired and renamed Banc of America Securities) and then more recently as a Senior Vice President for Friedman, Billings & Ramsey (FBR), a Washington DC-based investment banking firm, for which he helped open their San Francisco hub office.
Prior to institutional sales, he spent ten years in investment banking, helping to establish new San Francisco-based specialized practices for EF Hutton in 1983 and for CB Commercial in 1988.
Earlier in his career, he helped to launch Booz Allen & Hamilton’s San Francisco-headquartered strategic planning group in 1978.
Mr. Miller has a BA from Amherst College and an MBA from Dartmouth College.
